For first drafts and your rehearsal script – put your script on paper however (and whatever) works for you.

Once you are ready to submit your script, if you haven’t already done so, download Celtx and input your script in the free software after you install it on your computer. There are a couple of add-on bundles which we suggest you buy for your own use, but they are not required to create your script for the 711 Theatre Project.

While we do not require stage directions in your 711 Theatre Project script – we do require to be properly marked and formatted: title page, cast of characters page, dialogue, and light/sound/video cues for the performance.

Use the tabs in Celtx to create your title page, cast of characters and then typeset/pdf to save your script as a pdf to email us at info@711theatre.com before the deadline.

Note: the title page should have this information:
